2009 Summer League, B Division / 2009年夏季聯盟B組

The new summer league started from 7/29/09 after kids backed from Canada and Sweden.
夏季聯盟自7/29/09孩子從加拿大和瑞典回來以後開始了。

Tiffany was anxious to show all she learned in the camp to her coaches, teammates and friends in TW. Maybe due to the challenge level was not that much as in Sweden and the short rosters of her team, she didn’t play as well as expected. She’s a little disappointed. Her coaches did say that her angle and position was much better than previously. But both Tiffany and I believed that she should be better.
Tiffany期望能將她在訓練營所學展現給她在臺灣的教練，隊友和朋友。 可能是由于對手的程度和她在瑞典所面對的不同，而她所打的隊又有隊員短缺的問題，她的表現並未符合期望。 她有些失望。 雖然她的教練說她的角度和位置站得比以前好。 但是Tiffany和我相信她應該還可以更好。

The team was known as Tiger previously, but coaches suggested that ever since the kids growing, the name should be changed to “Junior Typhoon” to be consistent with the senior team in A Division from the same club. Due to the long drafts of “Typhoon”, Chris, Winston (Chris’s buddy since 4th grade) and 2 other players from Typhoon play down in B Division to support Junior Typhoon with the approval from League. Tiffany felt more comfortable to use her new One95 leg pads during the adjusting period with the support from her brother and other players.
孩子所屬的隊叫作老虎，但是教練建議孩子長大了，應該改名為「小颱風」，以便和所屬同一家俱樂部打A組的成人隊隊名一致。 由于「颱風」的隊員太多，Chris、Winston (和Chris從小四就一起打球的兄弟)，以及另外兩位颱風隊的球員，得到主辦單位的同意，到B組來支援小颱風。 因為有哥哥和其他球員的配合支持，Tiffany放心的在比賽中使用她還在適應期的新One95腳pads。

Junior Typhoon played better as tournament going. The most challenging game was on 8/29 when playing against Ice Man. Ice Man has 2 U18 national team players in the roster, and is well-known as its speed and aggressiveness. Before the game, most of the players, parents and other team in the league thought Ice Man has greater possibility to win the game. With the great support from the defenseman, Winston (also U18 national team player), Tiffany played really well, she faced 23 shots and only let one goal in the net, her save average of the game is 95.65%, and the final scores is 3 vs 1. Tiffany was selected one of the 3 stars of the game by her coach.
隨著比賽小颱風越打越好。 最具挑戰性的是在8/29，和冰人的那場比賽。 冰人隊中有2個U18國手，一向以他们的速度和不放棄的球風聞名。 比賽前，大部份球員，家長和聯盟裡的其他隊多認為冰人贏的可能性較高。 歸功於後衛Winston (也是U18國手)的保護，Tiffany打得很好，冰人射門23次她只失了一分，當場比賽的防守率為95.65%，最終比分3比1。 Tiffany還被她的教練選為該場比賽的3個最佳球員之一。

They won again last night, Chris scored 2 amazing goals and Tiffany got another “donut”. Tiffany skated out to pass the puck to her defense and reconciled the risk of breakaway during the game. Some parents and players, even coaches were so nervous when she skated out, but all of our families have fully confidence about her, it is the circumstance and challenge she’s been expecting, and she did the right thing without hesitate.
他們又贏了昨晚的比賽，Chris進了兩個很漂亮的球，得了兩分，Tiffany又再一次拿到了「donut」。 比賽中， Tiffany一度離開球門把球打掉來化解被對手單刀切入的危機。 當她離開球門時有部份家長和球員，甚而教練嚇出一身汗，大聲叫要她回去防守，但是我們全家對她處理球有充分的信心，這是她一直希望能遇到情況及挑戰，她在第一時間做了正確的處置沒有猶豫。

Junior Typhoon won all the games in the tournament so far. All the players improved so much inspired by 4 A division players and the hard training in summer. They play as a team! Regular season will be end in early Oct, I am sure Junior Typhoon will move into playoff with great record!
到目前為止小颱風保持全勝。 所有小球員在4個A組球員的激勵及這個暑假的訓練下進步很多。 他們打得越來越像個團隊了! 球季將在10月上旬結束，我相信小颱風一定能以傲人的成績挺進決賽!
